IEC-BC Programs for Newcomers

FAST is a free program available nationwide that validates that you are ready to work in Canada and skilled in your sector.
FAST has modules for all newcomers with Canadian workplace and Indigenous history learning, as well as skills assessment in the following sectors: Biotech and Life Sciences, IT & Data Services, Accounting & Finance, Culinary Arts, Skilled Trades, Seniors Care (BC only).

ASCEND is a free interactive online program to develop and refine soft skill competencies for Canadian newcomers.
Developed in collaboration with employers, HR experts, Service Delivery Partners, and newcomers like you, ASCEND helps newcomers build careers in Canada with online learning modules and workshops.
